Though Plenary Speaker Dr. Nick Fuhrman (“Ranger Nick”) is a Professor of Environmental Education, he also hosts a nationally aired nature show entitled “Ranger Nick” on RFD-TV — where his passion for effective teaching and using live animals as teaching tools is on full display.
A nationally known expert in teaching methods, “Ranger Nick” Fuhrman is most known for using live animals in his classroom. He will present a plenary session entitled The Difference Between Presenting Information and Truly Teaching It: What Great Teachers Do! at the Innovative Teaching Strategies Conference in Las Vegas in July. He will also present a keynote session during the conference.
